Specific Condition Notes: There are scratches on the buttstock near the shoulder. The top of the receiver shows light scratches and a small rust pit. The forearm has scratches. The bore is clean. There are spots of pitting on the exterior barrel surface.

The 20-inch barrel is factory set up with rifle sights — a ramped front and an adjustable rear — on a non-vent-rib profile with a fixed, non-threaded choke. The chamber accepts both 2 3/4 in and 3 in 12-gauge shells, and the standard-length tubular magazine holds four rounds with a knurled magazine cap.
The steel receiver wears a matte blued finish and is marked "870 EXPRESS MAGNUM." It uses twin action bars and right-side ejection. Controls include a cross-bolt safety.
Furniture consists of low-luster hardwood with pressed checkering on the stock and fore-end, plus a Remington recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches for a traditional fit.
