Product Description

FN Herstal Model 1910/55 .380 ACP, Belgian-Made 1966, Pre-1968 Browning Import, Compact Blued Pistol (6+1)

Made in Belgium in 1966, this FN Herstal Model 1910/55 is the .380 ACP variant associated in North America with the Browning Model 1955. It carries Browning Arms Company slide legends for St Louis, MO and Montreal, P.Q., along with "MADE IN BELGIUM" markings and Belgian proof stamps visible through the ejection port. A compact, fixed-barrel blowback design with a matted anti-glare rib and Browning-logo grips, it represents the pre-1968 GCA Browning import configuration.

    What’s Included

    • FN Herstal Model 1910/55 pistol (.380 ACP)
    • 1x factory FN 6-round single-stack steel magazine marked "FN 9m/m" with witness holes

This compact steel-frame pistol uses a fixed-barrel blowback system with the recoil spring surrounding the barrel. It is striker-fired, single-action, with a 3.5 in barrel and an overall length of approximately 6.0 in, offering a 6+1 capacity in .380 ACP.

The slide features a matted anti-glare top rib and fixed sights: a small integral front blade and a fixed rear notch. The blued finish extends over the slide and frame, maintaining the classic FN profile.

Safety equipment includes a manual safety, a grip safety, and a magazine disconnect. These features reflect the maker’s emphasis on practical handling and carry-friendly operation for a compact sidearm of its era.

Slide markings include "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS MO & MONTREAL P.Q." and "MADE IN BELGIUM," with Belgian proof marks present on the barrel hood and visible through the ejection port. Also known in North America as the Browning Model 1955, this example represents the pre-1968 GCA Browning import configuration.
