The 16 in CMV steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and magnetic-particle-inspected. It carries the FN oval logo and a rollmark reading "HF-MP CL 7.62x39." The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an AKM-pattern slant brake.
The stamped-steel receiver houses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and manual safety selector. A ribbed AKM-style top cover and left-side optics rail are present, with GF5 markings on the receiver/bolt-carrier area.
Magpul MOEkov furniture includes the MOE AKM polymer handguard with M-LOK slots and the MOE AK grip. The Magpul Zhukov-S stock is side-folding, length-adjustable, and features a QD sling socket. Length of pull is 12.0.
Sights consist of a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight with elevation slider. The rifle retains its cleaning rod and uses a separate front sight base with a 45-degree AKM-style gas block. Capacity is 30+1, and this example includes one 30-round magazine.
