Built on the Zastava AK-47 platform, this ZPAPM70UF uses a 1.5 mm stamped steel receiver with a bulged RPK-style front trunnion for added strength. The cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is threaded 14x1 LH and currently fitted with a long cylindrical muzzle device featuring a knurled front section. Operation is semi-automatic with a long-stroke gas piston system, and it uses a manual safety.
The rifle is configured with an extended aluminum M-LOK handguard that runs a full-length top rail, paired with an angled foregrip/hand stop. The steel, twin-strut underfolding stock is present, with the struts wrapped in brown cord for comfort and purchase. The black polymer pistol grip is wrapped with cloth/tape.
Accessory setup is robust: a Magpul handstop is installed on the M-LOK handguard; a Blue Force Gear Universal Wire Loop mount with push button socket provides sling attachment; E93 MK65 Light Mount and E93 V5/MU Sling Mount are installed; and a Streamlight TLR RM2 with green laser is mounted for illumination and aiming capability. A Soviet Arms extended charging-handle knob enhances manipulation.
Optics mounting is supported by a Zastava M70 UF top-cover scope/optic mount that is marked "MADE IN USA" with the Zastava "Z" logo. Sights are factory iron, with an adjustable rear ladder/tangent sight with range graduations. The extended M-LOK handguard bears the "M" icon and "106Z" marking.
