The Hellcat X2 Commander is a wide-body, double-stack 2011-type 1911-style pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, delivering a 17+1 capacity in a compact commander-length format. It uses a steel slide over an aircraft-grade aluminum wide-body grip module with an aggressively machined square checker-block texture on the grip module and frontstrap. The approximate empty weight is 28 oz (factory/press).
The slide is extensively lightened for reliable 9mm function and features a tri-flat top with top serrations, front and rear cocking serrations, and lightening cuts. The matte gray two-tone finish complements the pistol’s streamlined profile and purposeful machining.
Its 4.25 in match-grade barrel has a recessed crown protected by Guncrafter’s BattleCrown bushing. The sighting system uses dovetails front and rear, with a Trijicon HD tritium front sight paired to a black serrated rear for a clean, precise sight picture.
Controls are single-action with a skeletonized trigger featuring relief cuts, a skeletonized rowel hammer, and both thumb and grip safeties. This pistol was factory test-fired on 02-14-2019, includes matching documentation, and is made in the USA. MFG part number is HCX2COM9.
