The Performance Center Target configuration pairs a carbon-fiber sleeved 6 in barrel with a spiral-ported muzzle brake, delivering a distinctive target setup. The receiver is marked "Performance Center" with the S&W medallion, and the left barrel block is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA USA 22LR." The matte stainless steel frame and receiver complete a purpose-built, competition-oriented profile.
Controls and fire control are tuned for precision work: straight blowback, single-action operation with an internal hammer; a flat-faced, user-adjustable target trigger; an extended magazine release; and a thumb safety. Right-side ejection, a beveled magwell, and a polished feed ramp support smooth operation and loading.
A full-length top Picatinny rail spans the receiver and integrates the rear sight; this model has no front sight. The rail provides a continuous mounting surface and serves as the top interface for sighting solutions, with the rear sight built directly into the rail section.
Maintenance and configuration are streamlined through a one-screw takedown and an interchangeable barrel system. The pistol is made in the USA and is dimensioned for stability with an overall length of approximately 11.25 in, weight around 33 oz, and a 10+1 capacity.
