The Governor’s Z-Frame scandium-alloy construction keeps weight manageable at approximately 29.6 oz unloaded while maintaining durability. The frame is finished in black and uses a K-frame-sized grip area fitted with S&W-logo textured black synthetic grip panels.
Its stainless-steel cylinder holds six rounds and is finished in a non-glare black PVD. Chambering covers .45 Colt, .45 ACP (with moon clips), and 2.5-inch .410 bore shells, giving the shooter broad ammunition flexibility. The cylinder rotates counter-clockwise and locks up with a ball-detent yoke for added support.
