The PA-15 Freedom is an AR-15 platform rifle built around a direct-impingement action and chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It accepts standard AR-15/STANAG pattern magazines for a 30+1 capacity. The lower receiver is marked "PA-15 MULTI" and "Palmetto State Armory - West Columbia, S.C." and the rifle wears a uniform black finish.
The 16-inch barrel carries "5.56 NATO 1/7 FREEDOM" markings and a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 projectiles. The barrel is threaded at the muzzle. The flat-top Picatinny upper receiver includes a forward assist, ejection port cover, and case deflector.
Sighting components include a pinned A2 front sight base with sling swivel; no rear sight is included. Furniture consists of carbine-length, two-piece polymer handguards retained by a delta ring, an A2-style polymer pistol grip, and a 6-position M4-style adjustable stock. Length of pull is 10.5 inches, and the rifle uses a manual safety.
This example is upgraded with an aftermarket skeletonized curved trigger shoe installed. It also comes with three Magpul PMAG 30-round magazines to round out the package.
