The STAS variant pairs a stainless-steel slide with a full-size stainless-steel frame and a full-length dust cover for added front-end mass. An extended beavertail, an undercut trigger guard, and checkering on the frontstrap with vertical serrations on the backstrap support a secure, repeatable grip. A large flared magazine well speeds reloads.
The single-action-only system features an ambidextrous thumb safety and an advanced, skeletonized trigger. It offers adjustable pull weight, adjustable overtravel, a removable trigger shoe, and length-of-pull adjustment, allowing fine-tuning to the shooter.
The slide is optics-ready via a removable rear-sight plate using the PRO footprint. Iron sights include a green fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear. Front and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor provide familiar P226 XFive handling cues.
A 5-inch bull barrel, full-length dust cover, and the STAS sport takedown lever with serrated thumb rest round out the competition-focused feature set. The dust cover includes an integrated accessory rail for lights or other compatible accessories.
