The Custom II Two-Tone pairs a dark slide with a matte stainless steel frame for a clean, durable finish. It uses a Government-length 5-inch match-grade barrel with a traditional barrel bushing and recoil spring plug on a short guide rod. Factory markings include "Kimber" and "CUSTOM II" on the slide, ".45 ACP" on the chamber hood, and "YONKERS NY USA" on the frame.
This is a single-action 1911 with a left-only thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and the Series II (Swartz-type) firing pin block. It features a skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger for a crisp feel.
Sight setup is straightforward and durable: fixed iron sights with a dovetailed front blade and a low-profile rear. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation, and a lowered and flared ejection port to aid reliability.
The installed Crimson Trace Lasergrips are black and textured for control, and the grips project a green laser for an immediate, intuitive aiming reference from the firing grip. This enhancement integrates seamlessly without altering the pistol’s classic lines.
Chambered in .45 ACP, the pistol runs a single-stack 7-round magazine (7+1 capacity). It follows the proven 1911 platform in a full-size configuration, offering the familiar ergonomics and control layout that many shooters prefer.
