The M&P15-22P uses a simple blowback action tailored to .22 LR, pairing dependable function with the familiar AR-15 control layout. Its polymer receiver keeps weight low while maintaining compatibility with AR-style charging and manual safety controls. The matte black finish presents a clean, uniform look.
Up top, a continuous Picatinny rail spans the receiver and handguard, and the polymer M-LOK handguard provides slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. No iron sights are installed, and a Primary Arms prism optic with an ACSS illuminated reticle is already mounted for a clear, fast sight picture.
The 8-inch carbon steel barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-style flash suppressor. A 1:15 twist stabilizes common .22 LR loads effectively. The bore presents in excellent condition, consistent with the overall light prior use.
Ergonomics and handling are enhanced with an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace featuring a built-in QD sling socket and a Magpul K2-XL pistol grip.
