The 5.5 in barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel with a nitrided finish for durability. It is threaded 1/2x28 RH and arrives with a multi-port muzzle device installed. The standard threading is suppressor-ready.
KRISS equips this model with its Super V closed-bolt delayed blowback system. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, and the frame/receiver are a polymer/metal composite in FDE with contrasting dark metal components.
