The G45 pairs a compact-length slide and 4.02 in barrel with a full-size grip to create a balanced 17+1 capacity 9mm duty-size pistol. It uses a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech action with a trigger safety.
Gen5 enhancements include an ambidextrous slide stop lever, a flared magwell for efficient reloads, and forward slide serrations. The slide has both front and rear cocking serrations with a beveled front for easier holstering.
The steel Glock Marksman Barrel features a target-style crown. The barrel is steel and designed to support consistent accuracy and durability.
Sights are steel: an AmeriGlo steel front blade with an orange ring paired to a steel square-notch rear sight for a clear, durable sight picture.
Construction details include a black slide and frame, a polymer frame with Gen5-style stippling, and an accessory rail. The pistol is non-MOS with no optic cut. Origin is Austria with import marking "MADE IN AUSTRIA • GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." A lanyard hole is present at the heel of the grip.
