The Type B is a striker-fired, short-recoil operated 9mm pistol featuring Archon’s AF-Speedlock non-tilting barrel locking system and a low bore axis. It uses a 4.3 in barrel and measures 7.59 in overall length, with an unloaded weight of approximately 30 oz.
A steel sub-frame/chassis is nested in the polymer grip module, providing a solid internal foundation within a lightweight Flat Dark Earth frame. The grip features aggressive molded texturing, a pronounced beavertail with a raised ridge, and a deep trigger-guard undercut for a secure, high-hand purchase. The flat-faced trigger offers a straight, consistent press.
The slide is finished in black/gray and includes front and rear serrations, an external extractor, and an optic cut. Sighting is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front and a black square-notch rear, both dovetailed. The pistol accepts Glock-pattern sights for straightforward sight replacement. An integral 4-slot accessory rail supports common weapon-mounted lights or similar rail-mounted accessories.
Capacity is 15+1, and this example includes two 15-round steel magazines and one 12-round steel magazine, shown in a mix of standard- and compact-length formats. Markings include DE CIP N BK Germany and Las Vegas, NV import stamps.
