The V3's VersaPort self-regulating gas system uses dual short-stroke pistons to handle 2 3/4" and 3" 12-gauge shells without adjustment. This action is gas-operated and designed around a tubular magazine with a 3-round capacity.
The 28" barrel has a ventilated, serrated rib and dual beads for a clear sight picture, with a white front bead and a mid-rib bead. The threaded muzzle uses the Rem Choke system, and the included choke set covers Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full (Lead Shot Only), and an extended rifled choke tube marked Special Sabot.
The receiver is aluminum with a matte, non-reflective finish, and the shotgun wears a black synthetic stock and forend with molded texture for consistent purchase. Length of pull measures 14.5", and the rounded/teardrop bolt handle provides a positive grasp.
