The bore is fully rifled and in excellent condition, providing sharp lands and grooves and a clean, mirror finish. The barrel length is 24.5 inches, optimized for slug use where rifling is desired.
External features include a matte black steel finish and a non-ribbed contour. The muzzle is plain with no choke threads, and there is no cantilever rail.
Sighting provisions include an integral ramped front-sight base; the front sight itself is not installed, and a rear sight is not included. A "G" proof mark is stamped on the barrel ring.
