The Model 111 action is a right-hand, two-lug design with a jeweled bolt body marked "SAVAGE" and a floating bolt head. This architecture is designed to enhance alignment and consistency. A tang-mounted sliding safety with a red fire indicator provides clear visual status at the rear of the receiver.
The 22-inch sporter-contour steel barrel has a matte finish, a crowned, unthreaded muzzle, and uses Savage's barrel-nut system. The barrel is free of iron sights, and the receiver is drilled and tapped. Two-piece scope bases are already installed.
The black synthetic stock features molded checkering, a recoil pad, and sling swivel studs front and rear. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches. A blind internal magazine provides a 3+1 capacity without a floorplate.
Savage's AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and uses a blade-in-shoe design. The rifle has a matte blued finish overall and was made in the USA.
