This 1947 Winchester Model 12 is a post-WWII example of Winchester's hammerless, steel-receiver pump shotgun. It features the takedown design, internal hammer, and a trigger system without a disconnector that allows slam-fire. Classic walnut furniture and a blued finish round out a configuration many enthusiasts value. Please note: the barrel is not included with this sale.

    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 12 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
    • Barrel not included

Built in 1947, this Model 12 comes from the postwar production era in the United States and uses the hammerless, enclosed receiver that defined the model. The blued steel receiver pairs with walnut furniture for a classic Winchester look and feel.

Winchester’s takedown system allows the barrel and magazine assembly to detach from the receiver, a hallmark of the Model 12 design. The shotgun uses a tubular magazine with a 5+1 capacity.

The trigger group lacks a disconnector, making the shotgun slam-fire capable when the trigger is held and the action is cycled. An internal hammer supports the enclosed, streamlined action.

The stock is walnut with a straight comb and a small pistol-grip swell, paired with a ribbed corncob-style walnut forend. A checkered steel buttplate finishes the stock, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches.

Markings include a "D 0" inspector/assembly stamp. The finish is blued throughout the receiver and metal components noted.
