The KSG’s compact bullpup configuration places the action rearward, pairing maneuverability with an 18.5 in steel barrel. This barrel uses a cylinder bore and a 3 in chamber, accommodating a broad range of 12 gauge loads without choke constriction.
Dual, manually selectable tubular magazines are the hallmark of the KSG. Capacity is 6+6+1 with 3 in shells, or up to 7+7+1 (14+1) with 2 3/4 in shells, enabling extended runtime between reloads. Two knurled end caps secure the magazine tubes.
Mounting options are robust. A full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail spans the receiver for sighting devices, and a short Picatinny rail on the forend supports accessories. This shotgun is outfitted with aftermarket polymer flip-up sights and a polymer angled foregrip/hand stop. A front sling/attachment point is integrated at the muzzle plate.
Controls and construction are straightforward and durable. The shotgun uses a cross-bolt safety, with a textured polymer pistol grip and textured polymer forend for confident handling. The polymer stock is finished in matte black and capped with a thick rubber buttpad molded with "KEL TEC." Length of pull is 13.0 in.
Made in the USA, this KSG includes the factory box, and the receiver markings match the box label. The overall finish is matte black across the receiver and stock components, aligning with the KSG’s functional, duty-focused design.
