The EDC X9S is the micro variant of Wilson Combat’s EDC X-Series, sized for discreet carry while maintaining a double-stack, single-feed magazine system. It uses the Wilson Combat X-Frame and accepts X-Frame double-stack magazines, providing a 10+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. The frame incorporates an integral beavertail/tang and a heavy magwell bevel to streamline reloads. This example is the non-light-rail configuration.
Its 3.25 in match-grade steel barrel is a bushingless bull design with a reverse crown for muzzle protection. Both the chamber and exterior are fluted. The slide includes an external extractor, a lowered and flared ejection port, a top anti-glare serration rib with Wilson logo, a forward lightening oval, and rear X-Tac cocking serrations. The slide and frame wear Wilson’s Armor-Tuff black finish.
Target acquisition is handled by a green fiber-optic front sight and a black serrated Battlesight U-notch rear. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a left-side checkered magazine release, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, and a rowel-style hammer. Grip traction comes from the integral X-Tac texture.
Made in the United States, this pistol comes with supporting factory paperwork: a Wilson Combat Quality Control build sheet dated 02/25/20 and a Wilson Custom Gun Test Target dated 04/15/20. Three 10-round magazines, a Wilson Combat soft range bag, and accessory items are included.
