Built in 1953, this Model 94 comes from the sought-after Pre-64 era noted for forged and machined steel components paired with walnut furniture. Its production falls near the Model 94 two-million milestone year, aligning it with a significant period in the platform’s history.
The carbine setup includes a 20" round barrel marked "Winchester Proof Steel," two barrel bands, and a full-length tubular magazine for a 5+1 capacity. The blued finish presents the classic look expected of mid-century Winchesters.
The receiver is the traditional top-eject design with a right-side loading gate and a standard lever loop. Two plug screws on the left rear of the receiver are provided for mounting a receiver sight, consistent with period factory provisions.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped front sight with a blade insert and a barrel-mounted open rear sight with a stepped elevator.
