What’s Included
- Remington Nylon 66 MB Mohawk Brown .22 LR semi-automatic rifle
The MB Mohawk Brown variant stands out with its marbled brown nylon stock/receiver, white diamond fore-end inlays, white-line spacer at the buttplate, and a black fore-end tip with a light spacer ring. The stock and receiver structure are molded from DuPont Zytel-101 nylon, contributing to the model’s notably light weight and durable feel.
Feeding is via a tube magazine housed in the buttstock with a 14-round capacity (14+1 max). The buttplate includes the magazine loading access, keeping the rifle’s lines clean while offering generous capacity for a .22 LR semi-auto.
The 19.5-inch steel barrel is paired with sights: a front sight ramp/base secured with screws but no blade installed, and an open rear sight with an elevation slide and windage screw. For those who prefer optics, the stamped steel receiver cover includes two parallel 3/8-inch tip-off scope grooves.
At approximately 38.5 inches overall and about 4 lb 8 oz unloaded, this rifle is easy to carry and handle. It uses a semi-automatic blowback action with right-side ejection, and features a 13.5-inch length of pull. The blued receiver cover complements the Mohawk Brown marbled finish, with the serial number location on the left receiver cover consistent with post-1968 production practice. Made in the United States.
