Product Description

Ruger Mark II Standard .22 LR, 4.75 in Tapered Barrel, Fixed Sights (1995)

This 1995 Ruger Mark II Standard is the fixed-sight, 4.75-inch tapered-barrel configuration built with a steel frame and receiver. It features the Mark II updates including a true last-round bolt hold-open and compatibility with 10-round magazines, along with a heel-style magazine release and a simple blowback, single-action system. Made in the United States, it uses a tubular receiver with an internal cylindrical bolt and twin grasping ears, plus rugged fixed sights. This firearm is a great restoration project or to part out for other like model firearms.

    Condition

    Overall Condition: Poor condition.

Bore Condition: Poor - Noticeable dirt, stains, significant corrosion or damage.

Bore Rifling: Poor Rifling - Rifling heavily worn or filled with fouling or debris.

Specific Condition Notes: The right-side grip panel has a crack, and the left-side grip panel is broken. The bolt does not travel fully to the rear, so a complete manual-of-arms functions check could not be completed. Usage and wear marks are present across the firearm. Lands and grooves remain visible in the bore despite its poor condition.

    What’s Included

    • Sturm Ruger Mark II Standard .22 LR pistol

The Standard configuration pairs a 4.75-inch tapered steel barrel with fixed sights: a front blade on a banded base and a fixed rear notch integral to the receiver. The steel frame and tubular steel receiver house the Mark II’s internal cylindrical bolt with twin grasping ears for positive, ambidextrous manipulation.

As a Mark II, it incorporates a true last-round bolt hold-open via a dedicated bolt stop and uses 10-round magazines. The heel-style magazine release supports secure retention while maintaining the platform’s classic operating layout.

The action is simple blowback with a single-action trigger, and field-stripping is performed through the rear mainspring-housing/bolt-stop assembly, consistent with the Mark-series manual of arms.

This fixed-sight Standard configuration was cataloged by Ruger as MK-4 (blued) and KMK-4 (stainless). It is outfitted with black checkered synthetic grips bearing the Ruger medallion and was manufactured in the United States in 1995.
