Product Description

    Ruger GP100 .38 Special, 4" Blued, Fixed-Sight DA/SA Revolver (1995, 6-Shot)

This is a fixed-sight Ruger GP100 chambered in .38 Special only, produced in 1995. It features a 4-inch carbon-steel barrel with a ribbed top and partial underlug, a DA/SA action, and a six-shot, six-flute cylinder. The frame is blued while the cylinder is bright/in-the-white, and it retains faint but legible manufacturer and caliber rollmarks along with the Ruger phoenix logo.

    Condition

    Overall Condition: Poor condition.

Bore Condition: Poor - Noticeable dirt, stains, significant corrosion or damage.

Rifling: Poor Rifling - Rifling heavily worn or filled with fouling or debris.

Specific Condition Notes: The revolver is inoperable. The cylinder does not cycle, though the hammer can be cocked and released. There is widespread rust, pitting, scratching, and blemishing throughout. The one-piece rubber GP100 grip with wood insert panel is present, and the lower portion is wrapped in orange tape to secure it to the frame. Rollmarks are faint but remain legible.

    What's Included

    • Ruger GP100 .38 Special revolver

The GP100 shown here is a .38 Special–only configuration with fixed sights, combining a ramp front sight and an integral topstrap rear notch for a simple, durable sight picture. It uses Ruger's triple-locking cylinder system and a modular takedown design, hallmark features of the platform.

The 4-inch carbon-steel barrel has a ribbed top, a partial underlug, and an ejector-rod relief cut. The DA/SA action includes a smooth-faced trigger and a spurred, checkered hammer. Capacity is six rounds in a six-flute cylinder.

Finish details include a blued carbon-steel frame and a bright, in-the-white cylinder. Grips are the one-piece black rubber GP100 style with a wood insert panel, with the lower portion wrapped in orange tape. Manufacturer and caliber rollmarks are faint but readable, and the Ruger phoenix emblem is present on the frame.

Pistol is sold as sis. Pistol will need restorative work/gunsmithing.
