Product Description

Zastava Arms M59/66 SKS 7.62x39 Semi-Auto Rifle, 22 in Barrel, 10-Round Fixed Magazine, 1969 Yugoslavia, Grenade Launcher Spigot, Under-Folding Bayonet, Pilad 4x Scope

This 1969 Zastava Arms M59/66 is a Yugoslav SKS-pattern rifle with its distinctive grenade-launching equipment and original military configuration. It retains the fixed 10-round internal magazine and hardwood furniture, and it is outfitted with an Arbalet Patriot SKS receiver-cover optic rail and a Russian-made Pilad P4x32M scope while keeping the original tangent rear sight in place. Matching serials on the receiver and stock add cohesion to this example.

    What’s Included

    • Original SKS tangent rear sight (retained under optic rail)
    • Pilad P4x32M riflescope, installed
    • Arbalet Patriot SKS receiver-cover optic rail, installed
    • Under-folding blade bayonet, installed
    • No box/case included

Built by Zastava Arms in Yugoslavia, this M59/66 SKS-series rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 and uses the SKS short-stroke gas piston with a tilting-bolt action. It has a 22-inch barrel, a milled steel receiver, and a fixed 10-round internal magazine. The hardwood stock and wooden handguard maintain the rifle’s classic military profile.

The M59/66 configuration includes the 22 mm rifle-grenade launcher spigot, a gas shut-off valve for grenade launching, and a flip-up grenade ladder sight. As a non-A1 variant, it does not have front night sights. Standard sights consist of a front post in protective ears and the original tangent rear leaf, which remains in place beneath the accessory rail.

An Arbalet "Patriot SKS" receiver-cover optic rail (marked in Cyrillic, Belarus origin) is installed and topped with a Pilad P4x32M 4x scope marked Made in Russia. This setup provides a stable optic solution while retaining the rifle’s original rear sight underneath.

Field features include the under-folding blade bayonet with its bayonet mount and a belly sling swivel on the stock. Matching serials on the receiver and stock are noted in the markings, and the rifle aligns with the 1960s production era, specifically 1969.
