The P-415 Edge Gen 4 uses a regulated short-stroke gas piston with a 5-position adjustable gas block, optimizing performance across different loads and environments. Gen 4 fully ambidextrous controls place the safety, bolt catch/release, and magazine release on both sides, supported by an ambidextrous charging handle with extended latches. Ejection is to the right.
The 16.5 in barrel is 4150 CMV steel with a deep-nitride finish and 5R rifling in a 1:8 twist. It is threaded and fitted with a multi/triple-port muzzle brake. An oversized heat-sink barrel nut, anti-tilt buffer tube, and POF's roller cam pin and one-piece bolt carrier group (silver finish) round out the durability-focused design. The E2 dual-extraction chamber geometry aids primary extraction.
A 14.5 in POF Edge free-float M-LOK handguard in aluminum provides ample attachment space and includes modular Picatinny top-rail sections. The flat-top receiver features a Picatinny rail for mounting sights or accessories. Furniture includes a collapsible polymer stock and a textured polymer pistol grip. An M-LOK QD sling-cup socket is pre-installed on the handguard.
