The C39V2 is a U.S.-manufactured, milled-receiver AK-pattern rifle marked Georgia, VT. It uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system consistent with the Kalashnikov design and is chambered in 7.62x39. The rifle has a 16.3-inch steel barrel and a threaded muzzle fitted with a two-port brake featuring a crenellated crown. Capacity is 30+1 with detachable AK-pattern magazines.
A Texas Weapon Systems railed top cover is installed and includes an integral rear aperture sight. The cover integrates a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail along the top of the receiver, offering a solid, continuous mounting surface.
Magpul stock and pistol grip are fitted, specifically a Magpul MOE AK fixed stock and a Magpul MOE AK pistol grip. The handguard set is polymer: a TAPCO USA Intrafuse lower and a TAPCO upper.
Sighting is handled by an AK front sight block with a protected post paired to the rear aperture on the Texas Weapon Systems cover. The rifle wears a matte black finish over its milled steel receiver, includes a manual safety selector, and accepts standard AK-pattern 7.62x39 magazines.
