The DD5 V4 is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and uses the SR-25/LR-308 magazine pattern, delivering 20+1 capacity with the included PMAG. The receiver set, handguard, and furniture wear a factory-style flat dark earth finish, with model markings including DD5V4 on the receiver and caliber 6.5CM on the upper. The lower is roll marked Daniel Defense, Black Creek, GA, U.S.A., Model DD5, Cal Multi.
Its 18-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined S2W barrel features a 1:8 twist and a threaded muzzle (5/8x24) with a multi-port brake/compensator installed. The rifle-length gas system pairs with a 2-position adjustable gas block for tunability. Daniel Defense’s DD5 4-Bolt Connection System secures the upper/handguard junction for a rigid, free-float setup.
The aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard provides a continuous T-marked top Picatinny rail with M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the bolt catch, magazine release, and safety selector. The GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle incorporates anti-gas features, and the rifle includes a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and brass deflector.
The DLC-coated bolt carrier group is a model-level feature, and the platform is AR-10 with a semi-automatic, direct impingement action. Furniture includes a collapsible stock with a QD sling socket and a textured polymer pistol grip. Length of pull measures 15.0. The rifle is made in the USA.
