    What’s Included

    • Page-Lewis Arms Co. Model D Reliance .22 LR single-shot bolt-action rifle

The action is a simple single-shot bolt design with a manually cocked striker and a two-piece bolt. It loads from the top through an open ejection/loading port and feeds one round at a time, with a right-hand bolt capped by a small spherical knob for straightforward operation.

Barrel and sighting are equally straightforward: a 20" round barrel paired with iron sights, including a fixed blade front and a rear open sight. Capacity is 1 round, in keeping with its training and youth-rifle role.

The one-piece hardwood stock has a straight comb and slim forend, complemented by a plain wood butt with no buttplate. The length of pull measures 12.5". A simple strap-style trigger guard is fitted, and the under-forend guard screw serves as the takedown point.

Markings include "RELIANCE" on the receiver/barrel shank. This rifle was produced in the United States during the 1920s in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. It is part of the Page-Lewis line later associated with Stevens/Savage and is commonly encountered without serial numbers.
