The Model 24V Series D combines a .357 Magnum rifle barrel over a 20-gauge shotgun barrel, delivering two distinct chamberings in one break-action platform. The 24-inch barrels balance handling and velocity, while the color case-hardened steel receiver and blued barrels provide a classic two-tone finish. Markings reflect U.S. manufacture, with "Westfield, Massachusetts" rollmarked on the rifle barrel near the rear sight; the receiver itself bears the serial number.
Controls are straightforward and robust: a top-tang opening lever, an exposed hammer with a hammer-mounted barrel selector, and a single trigger within a steel trigger guard. An extractor is present for both barrels (not an ejector), and capacity is two rounds—one per barrel.
Iron sights include a ramped front blade and a folding/adjustable rear sight for precise zeroing. For optics, a 3/8 inch tip-off dovetail is provided, allowing use of compatible tip-off rings if desired.
The pistol-grip buttstock and long forend feature pressed checkering for a steady hold. An Ithaca-branded ventilated recoil pad has been installed, yielding a 14.0 inch length of pull. Sling swivel loops are fitted for easy carry in the field.
