The Security, Ghost Ring Sight configuration provides a receiver-mounted adjustable ghost-ring rear sight with protective ears paired to a front post that uses twin green fiber-optic elements. The sights are easy to pick up and are set low over the 18.5 in steel barrel, all finished in matte black for a consistent, non-reflective profile.
The 12 gauge pump-action uses a rotary bolt with dual action bars for positive cycling. It feeds from a 5+1 tubular magazine and accepts both 2 3/4" and 3" shells. The system loads from the bottom and ejects to the right. The tubular magazine runs nearly to the muzzle and incorporates a front sling-swivel stud.
Ergonomics are centered on a black synthetic pistol-grip stock with textured surfaces for control, matched to a black synthetic forend with diagonal molded ribs. Length of pull measures 14.5 in. A cross-bolt safety is positioned for simple operation.
Construction is straightforward and durable with a steel receiver and barrel, both matte black. The firearm is manufactured by Sun City Machinery Co., Ltd. in the P.R.C. and imported by Savage Arms, Westfield, MA, USA. The forend carries a molded Stevens logo, and this example includes an aftermarket Limbsaver slip-on recoil pad already installed.
