Barrels are marked "EXCELSIOR – HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL" and show the complete Italian proof suite: Gardone crest, PSF, and FINITO, along with a boxed "BB" date code. Additional barrel and bore markings include 18.3, KG1.540, and assembly code "26732 – BB S M O." The importer mark reads "BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD".

The walnut stock features checkering, a pistol-grip profile, a narrow field-style forend with a schnabel tip, and a Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad with white spacer. Sling accommodations include a QD sling swivel stud in the buttstock toe and a forward swivel under the forend/barrel. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches, with a slight right-hand cast-off.
The gun is set up with extended knurled stainless choke tubes—LMOD in the top barrel and IC in the bottom—on barrels threaded for chokes and marked for steel shot. Capacity is 2 rounds.
