The PPQ M1 Classic configuration delivers fully ambidextrous operation with paddle-style magazine releases integrated into the trigger guard and dual slide stops. It is a full-size 9mm with a 15+1 capacity and a 4.0 in barrel, offering the classic PPQ handling and ergonomics with interchangeable backstraps and Walther's textured polymer grip.
Durability is anchored by Tenifer-nitrided treatment on the slide, barrel, and internal parts. The steel barrel is nitrided, and the pistol includes an integral three-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dust cover. A loaded-chamber viewport on the barrel hood provides a quick visual check.
Walther's Quick Defense trigger features a short reset of about 0.1 in and a 5.6 lb pull, supporting fast, consistent follow-up shots. Sights are polymer with a windage-adjustable rear (central adjustment screw) and an interchangeable front; the front sight is a white dot post.
Origin and markings are notable: German manufacture with DE country code, Ulm antler proof, eagle/N nitro proof, and two-letter date code BB. This example also bears the SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MA import mark from early U.S. imports. The included factory test target and case labeling match the pistol's serial markings.
