The Big Boy Mare's Leg is Henry's purpose-built lever-action pistol configuration, offering the classic Big Boy feel in a compact format. It is chambered for .357 Magnum and also accepts .38 Special, giving the shooter flexible ammunition options for the range or field.
Construction highlights include a polished brass receiver, brass forend cap/barrel band, and brass buttplate paired with a blued round-profile steel barrel. The walnut forearm and cut-down straight-grip walnut stock complete the traditional look and solid handling.
Sighting is straightforward with a brass-bead front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The action uses a large-loop lever for easy manipulation. Feeding is via a tubular magazine only, with a removable inner brass follower and knurled end cap; there is no side loading gate. Ejection is to the right.
