The Mesa action is the Christensen Arms Model 14, a two-lug, push-feed design with a Remington 700 footprint. The receiver is drilled and tapped for R700-pattern scope bases, offering straightforward mounting of bases designed for that pattern. The bolt features spiral fluting for weight reduction and debris clearance, along with a skeletonized handle with three lightening holes and a round bolt knob. Capacity is 4+1.
The 24-inch barrel is crafted from 416R stainless steel, free-floated, button-rifled, and cut with a 1:8 twist for 6.5 PRC. It is threaded and fitted with a radial brake to help manage recoil and muzzle movement. The Mesa series carries a factory sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.
The stock is a carbon-fiber composite in black with gray webbing, featuring a straight comb, right-hand palm swell, and a soft recoil pad with vented ribs. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull is 13.5 inches, balancing field carry with steady shouldering.
Metalwork is finished in a matte gray/bead-blast for low glare. The rifle is made in the United States and ships without sights, leaving the receiver’s R700-pattern mounting interface ready for the owner’s choice of bases and optics.
