    What’s Included

    • Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22 LR semi-automatic rifle

Chambered in .22 LR and operating on a simple blowback action, this Glenfield Model 60 reflects the early configuration with a 22 in. barrel and an under-barrel tubular magazine design originally holding 15 rounds. On this rifle, the inner magazine tube/follower and knurled end cap are missing; only the outer tube and loading port are present.

The receiver top is cut with 3/8 in. tip-off scope grooves for easy use with common rimfire rings. Factory open sights include a ramped blade front and an adjustable rear leaf, providing a straightforward sight picture for small game or plinking.

The hardwood stock shows Glenfield’s period features: pressed checkering for grip and the well-known squirrel motif on the buttstock. A black synthetic buttplate completes the configuration, and the length of pull measures 13.75 in. The charging handle is located on the right side.

Production details include a North Haven, Connecticut rollmark and a Marlin serial code indicating 1979 manufacture. As a Glenfield-series rifle from the 1970s, it reflects the features and capacity configuration of the era before later changes to the Model 60 line.
