Built on Ruger’s one-piece investment-cast stainless frame without a sideplate, this Redhawk is designed around a triple-locking cylinder system and a six-shot fluted cylinder. The left-side push-button cylinder release and full-length ejector rod under a partial shroud support quick, positive operation.
The 7.5-inch stainless barrel features a partial underlug and an ejector-rod shroud. Sight alignment is handled by an adjustable square-notch rear sight and a pinned ramp front sight with a red/orange insert. The pinned front blade is replaceable.
This DA/SA revolver uses Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system, a smooth-faced trigger, and an exposed hammer with a checkered spur. Wood grip panels with Ruger medallions round out the classic Redhawk configuration.
Finished throughout in satin/brushed stainless, the revolver is chambered in .44 Magnum and also accepts .44 Special. It was manufactured in the United States in 1997, with the serial number located on the butt.
