Chambered in 7.62x39, this STAR-15 uses a 16-inch stainless barrel with a 1:10 twist and a carbine-length direct-impingement gas system. The barrel is roll-marked "7.62x39 1:10 USA" and is threaded, capped with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. A pinned A-frame front sight doubles as the gas block for a robust, proven front-end setup.
The upper is a flat-top (A3) receiver with a Picatinny rail beneath the detachable A2 carry handle, giving you a classic irons package with modern rail real estate if needed. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, and the rifle includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover. Receivers are aluminum alloy with a black hard-coat anodized finish.
Magpul MOE furniture rounds out the controls and handling: a carbine-length polymer handguard, a 6-position collapsible stock (mil-spec diameter) with approximately 10.5–13.5 inches of length of pull, and a Magpul MOE pistol grip. Controls include a left-only safety selector, a standard magazine release, and a single-stage curved trigger. The lower is marked "CAL: MULTI."
Capacity is 30+1, and this rifle ships with two steel AR-pattern magazines specific to 7.62x39 (one 28-round and one 30-round). The build and markings reflect USA manufacture and a cohesive black finish across the furniture and receivers.
