Built on the Swedish Mauser m/96 small-ring receiver, this rifle keeps the classic cock-on-closing action and charger/stripper-clip guide. It feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, providing a 5+1 stated capacity. The bolt is turned down with a round knob for clearance and smooth manipulation.
The 20-inch sporter-profile barrel is unthreaded and finished with a recessed crown. The barrel is roll-marked "6.5 x 55," and the rifle wears a blued/parked finish. The original barrel-mounted tangent rear-sight base is retained.
The receiver is drilled and tapped, and two-piece Weaver-style scope bases are already installed. This setup offers a straightforward path to mounting an optic of your choice without altering the current configuration.
The black synthetic sporter stock includes molded checkering for grip, a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, and a 14.0-inch length of pull. A front sling-swivel stud is installed, and the stock is inletted for a rear sling-swivel stud.
