Remington M1903A3 Sporterized .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle, 24 in Barrel, WWII-Era Receiver, Parkerized/Blue Finish
Built on a WWII-era U.S. Remington M1903A3 receiver, this .30-06 bolt-action rifle has been thoughtfully sporterized for a streamlined, field-ready profile. It retains its 24-inch barrel exposed along its full length, a receiver-mounted aperture rear sight with windage and elevation drums, and a front blade sight. The walnut stock is cut down from the GI pattern with a 12.0-inch length of pull, and the rifle shows a mixed parkerized receiver/bolt with a blued barrel finish. The internal 5-round magazine uses a hinged floorplate, and the receiver is rollmarked "U.S.

This rifle is anchored by a U.S.-made Remington M1903A3 receiver from the WWII era, rollmarked "U.S. REMINGTON MODEL 03-A3." A small "A" stamp appears on the barrel shank. The action is the controlled-round-feed, Mauser-type two-lug design that defines the 1903 family.
The walnut stock was cut down from the GI pattern into a sporterized, straight-comb profile with no upper handguard or barrel bands. It retains a checkered steel buttplate with a trap door. Length of pull measures 12.0 inches. A GI-style rear sling swivel is fitted, and a front sling swivel stud has been added.
Sighting equipment consists of a receiver-mounted aperture rear sight with protective ears and windage/elevation drums, paired with a front blade sight. The 24-inch barrel is exposed along its full length, complementing the streamlined sporter configuration.
Finish shows a period-correct mix: the receiver and bolt are parkerized, presenting a gray-green hue, while the barrel is blued. The rifle feeds from an internal 5-round magazine with a hinged floorplate and is chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
