This Sig Sauer M400 TREAD is a full-size AR-15 pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16" stainless steel barrel and a mid-length gas system. It features a free-float aluminum M-LOK TREAD handguard, an upper receiver with a T-marked Picatinny top rail, and a Magpul MOE SL 6-position carbine stock. A SIG SAUER M-LOK vertical grip/hand stop is installed, and one 30-round Magpul PMAG is included.

The M400 TREAD operates on a direct-impingement system with a mid-length gas setup and a SIG-marked low-profile gas block. The upper receiver includes a forward assist, an ejection-port dust cover, and a T-marked Picatinny top rail. The lower receiver displays the circular SIG logo on the magwell.
Its 16" stainless steel barrel is threaded 1/2-28 UNEF and fitted with a 3-prong flash hider. The barrel is marked 5.56 NATO and uses a 1:8 twist rate to accommodate a wide range of common 5.56/.223 bullet weights.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK TREAD handguard carries the TREAD emblem panel and does not include a top rail section, keeping the forend streamlined for M-LOK accessories. A SIG SAUER M-LOK vertical grip/hand stop is already installed.
Furniture includes a Magpul MOE SL 6-position carbine stock with an approximate length of pull range from 10.5" to 13.5", plus a SIG SAUER-branded pistol grip. The rifle has aluminum receivers with a black finish and a 30+1 capacity, and it comes with one Magpul PMAG 30 magazine.
