The A-15 LBR Carbine configuration pairs a direct impingement system with an A3 flat-top upper that includes a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, ejection-port cover, and case deflector. No sights are installed, providing a clean top rail for mounting the shooter’s preferred sighting system.
Its 16-inch stainless steel barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider. A low-profile gas block with a single rail segment and set-screw attachment works in concert with the free-float round vented aluminum handguard, which has longitudinal slots and a front sling-swivel assembly.
Furniture includes a Magpul MOE 6-position carbine stock made of polymer and an A2-type pistol grip. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches, offering an adjustable fit across positions.
The receivers are aluminum with a hard-coat anodized finish and are marked "D.P.M.S. ST. CLOUD, MN U.S.A." The rifle is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity and includes one 30-round magazine. The factory carton is labeled RFA3-LBR and indicates a serial number that matches the receiver.
