The S V3 configuration delivers a traditional DA/SA system with a spurred hammer, ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, and a rear-mounted decocking button. An ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release supports either hand without modification.
The 3.25 in cold hammer forged barrel uses polygonal rifling for long service life, and the slide wears HK's Hostile Environment nitrocarburized finish. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, and fixed three-dot contrast sights provide a clear sight picture.
The polymer P30-series frame uses interchangeable side panels and backstrap to tailor the grip, with finger grooves and a lanyard hole. Despite its micro/subcompact footprint, the design maintains the P30 family ergonomics and control layout.
A true MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with three slots adds light or accessory compatibility. Capacity is 15+1, and this pistol includes both a standard-length 12-round magazine and a 15-round extended magazine without a grip sleeve.
