The CBX action features a flat-bottom receiver and a tri-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift derived from the CZ 600 family. It uses a hybrid controlled-feed system with a mechanical plunger ejector. The receiver follows the Remington 700 short-action footprint and is drilled and tapped for bases, providing broad mounting flexibility.
The 20-inch carbon-steel barrel is heavy-sporter contour, button-rifled, and nitride finished. It has a 1:10 RH twist for .308 Win and a 9/16x24 threaded muzzle capped by a knurled thread protector from the factory.
The gray polymer stock has a straight comb and molded texturing at the wrist and forend. A modular LOP spacer system tailors the fit, and the soft recoil pad adds comfort. Dual front sling studs and a rear sling stud support a bipod and carry setup.
This rifle feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines and comes with a 5-round Magpul PMAG. Capacity is 5+1. Controls include a two-position tang safety. Made in the USA, this model carries a nitrided finish and a practical feature set suited to the .308 Win chambering.
