    What’s Included

    • Remington Nylon 66 Mohawk Brown .22 LR rifle

The Nylon 66’s nylon core with a stamped-steel receiver cover delivers a durable, corrosion-resistant platform with self-lubricating bearing surfaces, a hallmark of this model’s design. The blued/black finish pairs with the Mohawk Brown marbled stock for the classic Nylon 66 look and feel.

Feeding is via a 14+1 buttstock tubular magazine, loaded through a hinged hatch in the Remington-marked buttplate. The action is semi-automatic blowback with right-side charging and ejection, providing straightforward operation and easy handling.

Sight arrangement includes a ramped front sight base (hood-retainer style) with the front sight blade/bead missing, and a folding, screw-adjustable rear leaf mounted on the barrel. The receiver cover incorporates integral 3/8-inch tip-off grooves for mounting compatible optics if desired.

The Mohawk Brown stock features molded checkering at the grip and fore-end, a white diamond fore-end inlay, an inset Remington Nylon 66 medallion, and white-line spacers at the grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 in for a comfortable fit.

Made in the United States and produced in 1970–1971, this serialized, post-1968 example represents a later production period of the Nylon 66 line while retaining the model’s core attributes: a 19.5 in steel barrel, light handling, and proven .22 LR performance.
