This 1995 Colt Government Model MK IV Series 80 is a full-size, steel-frame 1911 in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel. It features the Series 80 firing-pin block, a lowered ejection port, fixed sights, and factory slide markings. A beavertail-style grip safety with memory bump is installed, along with a spur hammer. Certain parts are not installed and the pistol is offered as-is with select loose parts included.

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.
Bore Rifling: Fair Rifling - Worn rifling, slight loss of definition.
Specific Condition Notes: The pistol will need gunsmithing and will need parts replaced/refreshed. There is widespread scratching, blemishing, and finish loss. The plunger tube is not physically installed onto the pistol, and the part itself is provided. Three out of the four grip screw bushings are not installed onto the frame.

The Government-length slide is marked "COLT MK IV / SERIES 80" on one side and "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" on the other. It uses a standard barrel bushing with a short recoil spring plug and a standard, non-railed dust cover. Rear cocking serrations are vertical, and the ejection port is lowered and relieved for improved clearance.
Sights are fixed, with a staked front blade and a low-profile square-notch rear in a dovetail. The pistol retains the Series 80 firing-pin block and grip safety, consistent with its single-action 1911 design.
Installed custom elements include a beavertail-style grip safety with memory bump and a spur hammer. The thumb safety lever is currently absent. The factory grip panels are not installed; textured panels with screws are provided separately.
The plunger tube with plungers is provided but not installed. Certain parts are provided, their fitment or potential to be used in restoring this pistol is not guaranteed. Pistol is sold as is.
