    This Smith & Wesson Model 629-4 is a stainless-steel N-frame .44 Magnum with a 6-round fluted cylinder and a long 8 3/8 in barrel. It features the -4 revision’s forged hammer and smooth-faced, forged trigger, a hammer-mounted firing pin, and factory drill-and-tap topstrap holes. The revolver is set up with a red-ramp front sight and an adjustable square-notch rear, and is rollmarked Made in U.S.A., Springfield, Massachusetts.
