The Scout Squad configuration pairs an 18-inch steel barrel with a steel receiver and the classic M14 operating system: semi-automatic, gas-operated, and a rotating bolt. The two-stage trigger and 20+1 capacity reflect the model’s M14 lineage, while the 13.0-inch length of pull and wood stock with sling swivels provide a stable, traditional shoulder fit.
Sighting is handled by a wing-protected front blade on the gas lock and an M14-type aperture rear sight with elevation and windage knobs. A separate barrel-mounted forward scout rail, positioned over a cutout in the black polymer top handguard, provides mounting for accessories, and the factory perforated muzzle brake/stabilizer completes the Scout Squad setup.
This rifle currently wears a surplus M14 wood stock, offering a classic profile and sling attachment points. The original synthetic stock with a custom camouflage finish is included if you prefer a lighter, weather-resistant option.
Manufactured in the United States in 2014, this M1A Scout Squad includes two 20-round steel magazines, rounding out a well-equipped .308 Win package based on the proven M14 pattern.
