The Gen 3 G26 pairs a 3.43 in steel barrel with a nitrocarburized finish and polygonal rifling to deliver durable, low-maintenance performance. Its striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech system is Glock's proven operating setup in a subcompact footprint designed for 9mm Luger.
The polymer frame features the Gen3 finger grooves and the subcompact profile without an accessory rail. The slide includes an external extractor and rear-only serrations. Factory sights are the fixed polymer notch-and-post set, with a white-dot front and white-outline rear for straightforward sight alignment.
Standard capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines, and the platform accepts higher-capacity 9mm Glock magazines from the G19 and G17. The G26/G27 subcompacts also introduced Glock's dual recoil-spring assembly to this size class.
Made in Austria with the import marking "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA.", this pistol carries Glock's three-location serialization on the slide, barrel, and frame. Introduced in 1995 as Glock's first 9mm subcompact, the G26 remains a notable model in the lineup.
