The heart of this Compact model is Sig Sauer’s modular, serialized Fire Control Unit (FCU), allowing the fire control assembly to be the legally serialized component. It is a striker-fired design with a factory trigger. The controls include a reversible magazine release and ambidextrous slide catch levers. This pistol has no external manual safety.
The stainless-steel slide has front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The slide is not optics-cut and does not include a mounting plate. Sights are fixed steel: a dovetailed front blade with a single dot and a dovetailed square-notch rear. The sight radius measures 5.8 inches.
This example wears a custom multitone camouflage refinish in a green/tan hex/scale pattern on the slide and polymer grip module. The frame integrates a multi-slot accessory rail for lights or other compatible accessories.
The 3.9-inch barrel is marked on the hood "9mm x 19." The slide is marked "NEWINGTON, NH, US," reflecting U.S. manufacture. Capacity is 15+1 rounds, and it comes with one steel magazine marked "MADE IN ITALY."
